1. अभ्यर्थी को उत्तर प्रदेश का मूल निवासी होना आवश्यक है। उत्तर प्रदेश के मूल निवासी की परिभाषा मद संख्या 11 में प्रमाण पत्र-1 की टिप्पणी में दी गयी है। जिन अभ्यर्थियों ने हार्इस्कूल एवं इन्टरमीडिएट अथवा समकक्ष दोनों परीक्षाऐं उ.प्र. से उत्तीर्ण की हो, उन्हें उ.प्र. में निवास का प्रमाण पत्र आवश्यक नहीं होगा। यदि किसी अभ्यर्थी द्वारा हार्इस्कूल एवं इन्टरमीडिएट अथवा समकक्ष दोनों, अथवा इन दो में से एक भी परीक्षा उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के बाहर से उत्तीर्ण की हो तो उन्हें उ.प्र. के मूल निवासी होने का प्रमाण पत्र लाना आवश्यक होगा।
2. आयु सीमा प्रवेश परीक्षा में बैठने के लिए अभ्यर्थी का जन्म 31 दिसंबर 1996 को या उसके पूर्व हुआ हो। आयु के सम्बन्ध में कोर्इ शिथिलता नहीं बरती जायेगी।
3. शैक्षिक अर्हता
   • अभ्यर्थी को किसी भारतीय बोर्ड या अन्य मान्यता प्राप्त शिक्षण परीक्षण संस्थान द्वारा संचालित इंटरमीडिएट (विज्ञान) या समकक्ष परीक्षा में भौतिकविज्ञान, रसायनविज्ञान, जीवविज्ञान (जिसमें प्रयोगात्मक परीक्षा भी शामिल होगी) तथा अंग्रेजी विषय सहित उत्तीर्ण होना आवश्यक है। एम.बी.बी.एस. तथा बी.डी.एस. पाठयक्रम में प्रवेश हेतु मेडिकल काउंसिल आफॅ इंडिया डेण्टल काउंसिल आफॅ इंडिया द्वारा निर्धारित अर्हताएं मान्य होंगी, जो कि निम्नवत है:-
     (A) The Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 higher secondary examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research & Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education; Note: Where the course contents is not as prescribed for 10+2 education structure of the National Committee, the candidates will have to undergo a period of one year pre- professional training before admission to the Medical/ Dental/Ayurvedic/Homoeopathic/Unani College:
     OR
     (B) The Intermediate examination in science of an Indian University, Board or other recognized examination body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.
     OR
     (C) The pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the higher secondary school examination or the pre-university of an equivalent examination shall include a practical test in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also English as a compulsory subject:
     OR
     (D) The first year of the three years degree course of a recognized university, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the examination is a “University Examination” and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course.
     OR
     (E) B.Sc. examination of an Indian University, provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc. examination with not less than two of the following subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that he/she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
     OR
     (F) Any other examination which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the intermediate science examination of an Indian University/Board taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English.
   • संपूर्णानंद संस्कृत वाराणसी से विज्ञान विषय सहित मध्यमा परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण अभ्यर्थी केवल बी.ए.एम.एस. पाठयक्रम में प्रवेश हेतु परीक्षा में सम्मलित हो सकते हैं।
   • बी.यू.एम.एस. पाठयक्रम के अभ्यर्थियों को उपर्युक्त अर्हता (3) के अतिरिक्त कक्षा 10 के समकक्ष उर्दू विषय की परीक्षा में भी उत्तीर्ण होना आवश्यक होगा।
   • प्रवेश परीक्षा में सम्मलित होने के लिए उन सभी अभ्यर्थियों को अनुमति प्रदान कर दी जायेगी जो अर्हकारी परीक्षा में 2013 में सम्मलित हो रहे हों। अर्हकारी परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण होने का प्रमाण-पत्र अथवा अंक तालिका काउंसिलिंग के समय प्रस्तुत करना होगा। अर्हकारी परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने का प्रमाण-पत्र अथवा अंक तालिका काउंसिलिंग के समय न प्रस्तुत करने की दशा में आवंटन नहीं किया जायेगा।
   • एम.बी.बी.एस. तथा बी.डी.एस. पाठयक्रमों के लिए अनारक्षित अभ्यर्थियों को अर्हता परीक्षा में भौतिक विज्ञान, रसायन विज्ञान तथा जीव विज्ञान विषयों में औसत 50 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त करना आवश्यक है, इसके साथ ही सी.पी.एम.टी. में 50 प्रतिशत अंक भी प्राप्त करने अनिवार्य हैं। विकलांग उपश्रेणी के अभ्यर्थियों के लिए दोनों मानक 50 प्रतिशत के स्थान पर 45 प्रतिशत होंगे। [MCI letter no. MCI-34(1) (GEN/2009-Med-2569) Dated 21.04.2009] अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जन जाति तथा अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग श्रेणी के विधार्थियों के लिए दोनों मानक 50 प्रतिशत के स्थान पर 40 प्रतिशत होंगे।
   • बी.एच.एम.एस., बी.ए.एम.एस. तथा बी.यू.एम.एस. पाठयक्रमों हेतु सी.पी.एम.टी.-2013 परीक्षा में न्यूनतम 35 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त करना आवश्यक है।
   • अभ्यर्थी कम्प्यूटरीकृत आवेदन-पत्र (Computerized OMR Application Form) में दी गर्इ घोषणा (Declaration) पर विशेष ध्यान दें।

1. सी.पी.एम.टी.-2013 की सूचना पुस्तिका सेन्ट्रल बैंक आफॅ इंडिया की चिंहित शाखा से परीक्षा शुल्क जमा करने के पश्चात प्राप्त की जा सकती है। सामान्य वर्ग एवं अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के लिए परीक्षा शुल्क रु.1280/- होगा। अनुसूचित जातिजनजाति के लिए पुस्तिका का परीक्षा शुल्क रु. 680/- होगा। इसमें काउंसिलिंग के रु. 50/- भी सम्मलित हैं।
2. पुस्तिका में ओ.एम.आर. शीट के रूप में आवेदन-पत्र भी संलग्न है।
3. पुस्तिका में दिये गये निर्देशों/सूचनाओं को ध्यान पूर्वक पढ़ें।
4. आवेदन पत्र को पुस्तिका में दिये गये निर्देशों/सूचनाओं के आधार पर ही भरें।
5. अभ्यर्थी को आवेदन करने से पहले परीक्षा में बैठने की अपनी अहर्ता का आंकलन स्वयं कर लेना चाहिये। इसके लिये अभ्यर्थी स्वयं उत्तरदायी होगा एवं परीक्षक संस्था किसी भी रूप से उत्तरदायी नहीं होगी।
6. ओ.एम.आर. शीट अत्यन्त सावधानी पूर्वक भरें। इसे भरने के लिए काली या नीली स्याही के बाल-प्वाइंट पेन का ही प्रयोग करें। इसमें कोर्इ ओवर राइटिंग अथवा कटिंग न करें। फेल्टस्केच पेन तथा पेनिसल का प्रयोग न करें।
7. आवेदन-पत्र प्रारूप ओ.एम.आर(O.M.R) पत्र पर है, अत: इसको पूर्णत: त्रुटिहीन भरना आवश्यक है। आवेदन-पत्र जमा होने के पश्चात इसमें संशोधन संभव नहीं है।

पहले आवेदन पत्र की फोटो प्रतिलिपि बनाकर उस पर अभ्यास कर लें। निशान लगाने के बाद उसे बदलना असंभव है। मिटाकर बदलने का प्रयास भी न करें।

2.3 Minimum percentage of marks in the essential qualification as indicated above shall
be aggregate of all semesters/ years to be calculated taking average of all

year by the Institute/ University.Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Chemical Technology/ Petrochemical Technology with minimum 65 % marks.

Age Limit : Upper age limit 30 years as on (30.04.2013).UPPER AGE LIMIT AND AGE RELAXATION
4.1 The Upper Age Limit is 30 years as on 30/04/2013.
4.2 The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates, 3 years for OBC
(Non‐Creamy Layer) candidates. It is also relaxable by 05 years for PWD‐General,
08 years for PWD‐OBC (NCL) and 10 years for PWD‐SC/ ST candidates. The upper
age limit is also relaxable by 05 years for candidates domiciled in the State of
Jammu & Kashmir between 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989.
4.3 In case of Ex-servicemen who have put in not less than six months continuous
service in the Armed Forces of the Union, they shall be allowed to deduct the period
of such service from their actual age, and if the resultant age does not exceed by
more than 3 years the maximum age limit prescribed for the posts/ services for
which a candidate seeks appointment, he/ she be deemed to satisfy the conditions
regarding the age limit.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.24900 – 50500/- (E-2 Grade) at the Basic Pay of Rs.24900/- with one year probation in E-2 Grade.

Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General and OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category are required to pay a non‐refundable application fees of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) by Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn in favour of GAIL (India) Limited payable at New Delhi. The Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and the fee once paid will not be refunded on any account nor would this fee be held in reserve for future exam/ selection. SC/ ST and PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
