GUIDEINES FOR EVALUATION OF MERIT FOR ADMISSINS 2012-2013
Only one vocational subject may be included while computing the aggregate for determining merit.
From the aggregate, a negative weightage of 4% will be deducted for each one of the following subjects (for Honours. and B.A. Programme courses).
*Agriculture, Applied Arts, Basic Nutrition, Body Perfection and Yoga, Calligraphy, Commercial Art, Cooking, Cosmetic Chemistry & Beauty Care, Cutting & Stitching, Dance, Domestic Science, Financial Market Management, Fine Arts, Food Preparation, Food Preservation, Graphics, Hair Dressing, Home Economics, Home Sciences, Insurance, Library Science, Marketing, Music, Office Management & Secretarial Practice, Painting, Physical Education, Salesmanship, Sculpture, Textile Designing, Typing, Weaving, Web & Multi-media, etc. (see Note 1.* below).

Amarnath yatra begins today Sunday 24.06.2012 as the first batch of pilgrims left for the cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas from the base-camp here amid tight security.

Around 3.5 lakh pilgrims have already been registered for the yatra 2012. Amarnath yatra will conclude on 2nd August 2012 on Raksha Bandhan.

How to Register Yatra 2012:
- Check Availability for a specified date and route either through Baltal or Chandanwari (Phalgam).
- The selected date is the date of start of Yatra from Domel Check Point (Baltal Route) or the Chandanwari Check Point (Chandanwari Route) .
- The maximum number of Registrations per booking is limited to 5.
- Each individual Yatri Registraion shall cost Rs. 15.
- Please fill in the complete Yatri Details individually as required.
- Please provide proper Nomination details of a Relative for payment of the insurance claim in case of death due to accident.
- Please ensure that the Billing details are provided for the person making the payment through credit cards /debit cards / ebanking.
- Enter a Valid Email ID to receive confirmation of your registration and for future references.
- Please take a print of the Yatri Registration receipt/s in landscape which shall be the Yatri Permit/s for the Yatra.
